I'd like to thank the various people, web sites and military wives' groups that have allowed me to check out information on sending items to their loved ones in Iraq. Some of the stuff applies equally to both contractors and soldiers; however, some items do not. I've tried to include here both practical advice and links to other places that might be of interest. (Do not take these links as endorsements, please, just information I have run across.)
Keeping Connected - Letters, Email & More Overview

Letters are the Number One request that I have from my husband, with Photos of the kids, the dogs, me, his cars and trucks (he's a mechanic) running a close second. They're cheap, easy, and something tangible from home.
